- Thomas, Chris. Osprey Combat Aircraft 86, Typhoon Wings of the 2nd TAF 1943-45 2010, with considerable coverage of combat in Normandy and through to the end of the war. A great reference.
- Robinson, Neil, illustrations by Freeman, Jon AIRfile Operation ‘Overlord’ June-September 1944 Volume 1 RAF & Commonwealth Air Forces Comprehensive guide, through line illustrations, to British and Commonwealth aircraft in the campaign, with a supplement for Luftflotte 3 included. Excellent illustrations of all types involved, with the Typhoon getting significant coverage. (There is also an excellent companion volume 2, also by Robinson and Freeman, covering the USAAF Eighth and Ninth Air Forces during the same period.) Both volumes published 2011.
- Philpot, Bryan Aircam/Airwar 10, RAF Fighter Units Europe 1942-45 1978. Well-illustrated, including line drawings, with much attention paid to the Typhoon. Rare, but worth a look.
